Allston apartments are a popular spot for students going to Boston University, Boston College and Harvard University, Allston has a rich cultural history. The center of Boston’s music scene from the 60s to 80s. Allston was a mecca for local and international music, earning it the nickname “Rock City.” To this day, Allston is a go-to spot for all kinds of music, making it one of the area’s most hip and vibrant neighborhoods.

The annual turnover as students come and leave make Allston an ever-changing neighborhood. But in recent years, immigrant communities and young professionals have made it their home, making a vibrant spot even more diverse.

Allston Public Transportation

The MBTA B Green Line, runs along the border of Allston and Brookline. MBTA bus lines include the 57, 64, 66, 70, 70A and 86. You can also take the commuter rail from South Station to Boston Landing.

What to Do

Allston is made for walking and people watching. Check out the street art while doing some thrift store shopping. And be sure to grab a meal at one its many great restaurants and bars.
